Career Development Workshop with Alexander Britz
Our students explored their career opportunities in a workshop by Alexander Britz.

Over the past two days, our IMPRS-APS students, alongside fellow students from IMPRS-QST, participated in an engaging career development workshop. Led by Alexander Britz, who has a research background himself, the workshop provided our students with valuable insights into navigating their professional futures inside and outside of academia.
Day one covered a wide spectrum of topics, from effective job search strategies, networking, and storytelling to leveraging AI for career development and mastering salary negotiations. Alexander Britz guided our students through introspective exercises, empowering them to shape their own career paths.
The second day was dedicated to collaboratively refining CVs & cover letters with peer feedback.
Our students found the workshop very helpful, especially highlighting the enriching discussions with their fellow students and the new perspectives they gained.
A big thank you to Alexander Britz for this insightful workshop!
