Working hands-on with experimental setups is what our IMPRS-APS alumnus Johannes Schötz misses most from his time at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ). From 2014 on, he did his PhD in the group of Prof. Matthias Kling at the MPQ, followed by a postdoc period under Prof. Ferenc Krausz.
