Company Visit at Marvel Fusion (please notice changed date!)

Marvel Fusion is a German company pioneering fusion energy using short-pulse lasers. Founded in 2019, they employ over 70 people and have raised more than €385 million, making them Europe’s best-funded fusion company. Their goal: a safe, clean, and virtually limitless energy source without CO₂ emissions or long-lived radioactive waste.

Marvel Fusion has invited us to visit their headquarters in Munich and labs @ CALA, Garching. Take this unique opportunity to learn more about their work, research areas, and career opportunities at Marvel Fusion. You will gain exclusive insights into their projects and have the chance to network with professionals from the company.

AGENDA:

9:00 am: We meet at CALA, Am Coulombwall 1 in 85748 Garching (link). Dr. Martin Speicher will pick you up at the entrance in the middle.

09:00 - 10:30 am: Guided tour in CALA

10:30 - 11:00 am: Shuttle with two Uber MAX Taxis (7 pers. each) to the Marvel Fusion Office. Please be on time outside Am Coulomwall 1 for the pickup. The taxis will be waiting outside for max. 15 min.

11:00 - 12:30: Company presentation (Mr. Floris Deurvorst) and presentation of the Experimental Physics Team (Dr. Daniel Rivas, Dr. Katinka von Grafenstein)

12:30 - 13:30: Lunch and Come Together
