Meet our new PhD Representatives
Jakob Schröder and Vincent Weis have been elected as the new PhD representatives of the IMPRS-APS.

We are happy to announce that Jakob Schröder and Vincent Weis are taking over the position of PhD representatives from Jannik Esslinger and Manoram Agarwal. The election took place during last week’s annual meeting at Schloss Ringberg.
Jakob Schröder is a PhD student in the group of Andreas Döpp where he works on data-driven diagnostics of laser pulses and hyperspectral imaging.
Vincent Weis, on the other hand, pursues his doctoral studies in the group of Thomas Udem at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics where he works on precision spectroscopy of the 1S-3S transition in atomic Hydrogen.
In their role as PhD representatives, Jakob and Vincent will serve as a voice for the doctoral candidates at IMPRS-APS to convey new ideas and address problems.
Thank you for taking on this important role!
