Kick Off of the 2025 Block Lecture Series
On March 13 and 14, we kicked of our block lecture of 2025 with lectures by Andreas Döpp, Kosmas Kepesidis and Nicholas Karpowicz.

At IMPRS-APS, we believe that education is key to success. In order to provide our doctoral candidates with the best possible education in advanced photon science, we therefore organize concentrated and highly specialized block lectures as an intensive and advanced learning opportunity.
Yesterday and today, we kicked off the first part of our block lecture series in 2025, covering the topics of Bayesian methods in physics and machine learning (Andreas Döpp), introduction to causal interference (Kosmas Kepesidis), field-resolved attosecond science and numerical photonics (Nicholas Karpowicz)
The second part of the block lecture will take place on April 3-4. You can find all of our upcoming events here.
