Between pizzas and lasers

Our researchers had the chance to get to know each other better during their social event last week. 

Last week, our students came together over pizza and tarte flambée to share ideas, stories, and experiences with their peers at IMPRS-APS.

Thanks to our PhD representative Vincent Weis, the group also got the chance to visit his lab at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics and learn about his research in the group of Thomas Udem. 

It was a great opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed setting — big thanks to both of our PhD representatives, Vincent and Jakob, for making it happen!
